According to our Roadfood calendar, today is National Pickle Day. We've had lots of great pickles in the past few years -- the sinus-clearing lot from Porubsky's Grocery (Roadfood.com review) in Topeka, Kansas immediately comes to mind. But our go-to favorites here in Boston are Grillo's Pickles, and we eat the Hot Italian Spears every day with lunch. Fortunately, Grillo's is now available at our local grocery store, not only at Whole Foods in town. We doff our hats to Travis Grillo for making our every sandwich so delicious!
