Key West's Half Shell Raw Bar (see the Roadfood.com review) was shut down last Monday for what safety and sanitation inspectors called "critical violations," including "live roach activity as evidenced by 60-plus live roaches found in main kitchen, steam kitchen and prep kitchen, crawling on walls, floors and prep tables." The inspectors returned Tuesday morning and found the violations corrected. They were then permitted to reopen.
