Kat Odell of Los Angeles Eater reports that Cassell's, once considered the premier hamburger source in southern California, now has new owners who will be relocating it to the Hotel Normandie. They promise to update the menu but to keep the unique burgers and freshly made condiments.

Cassell's hasn't been on top in a looong time. Apple Pan is the best, In-n-Out if AP cannot be managed. [me: 16 yrs in LA]
