Half Smoke
A half marathon is 13.1 miles. A half smoke is a sausage specialty of Washington, D.C. Combine the two and you have the first annual DC Half and Half Marathon, which was held yesterday morning. Here's how it works: run 6.55 miles to Ben's Chili Bowl (see the Roadfood.com review), where you will consume a half smoke topped with chili, mustard, and onions. Show the officials your empty basket before running another 6.55 miles. Registration for the event sold out this year but they are already taking names for the 2013 run. Hey, maybe Roadfood should sponsor billyboy for next year's Half and Half!
