Anyone who's ever been to the food festival Roadfood puts on every spring in New Orleans (next year's gathering, newly named FoodFest: America's Hometown Eats, will be held March 22nd through 24th) is sure to have vivid taste memories of the exquisite, vaguely curry-flavored crawfish pies served crisp and hot from the fryer by Lasyone's of Natchitoches (see the Roadfood.com review).
