Bud Royer of Royers Round Top Cafe in Texas (see the Roadfood.com review) will be driving a reefer to the Northeast to deliver 650 pies to relief kitchens in New Jersey and New York, in time for Thanksgiving. The cost of the trip is being covered by the Dallas Market Center. They also want to hand out $25 gift cards good at places like Walmart, Lowe's, and Home Depot, and here's where you can help. The Royers website is enabling folks to place an order for one of these gift cards to be delivered to Sandy victims by Bud. Sounds like a terrific idea!
