Burger
Michael Stern posted here back in June that Cassell's Burgers of Los Angeles was planning to move to the historic Hotel Normandie LA. The hotel has been undergoing extensive renovations and is not yet open. Buffetbuster reminded us that, in the meantime, Cassell's has closed its 6th Street location, so we've archived the Roadfood review of Cassell's. When the hotel and burger shop are up and running we'll hopefully have some first-hand feedback on the reincarnated Cassell's.

That review should have been archived a long time ago. I don't know what it USED to be like, but on my two separate visits there (any place can have a bad day, right), I thought the place was awful - from service to food...the soup to nuts of the restaurant industry.....just awful.

I agree with TTM. On our visit many years ago, it was downright lousy -- and I really wanted to love it. TTM's a better man, because we never gave it a second chance.
