The original Nathan's, which opened in Coney Island, NY 96 years ago (see the Roadfood.com review), closed this fall for the first time in its history, due to Sandy. Damage was extensive enough that they say they are now hoping to reopen next spring. Read the full story in The Brooklyn Paper.
