We know it's National Mousse Day because we checked our Roadfood Calendar this morning, as we do every morning, to see what food holiday we'll be celebrating today. And, yes, we're more chocolate pudding folks than mousse aristocrats but, let's face it, chocolate mousse is really fancy-pants chocolate pudding anyway. And it's very easy to make. So this evening we'll be puttin' on our top hat, tyin' on our white tie, brushing off our tails, and spooning into a feather-light chocolate mousse.

You want to keep abreast of all the latest in food holidays, with all those excuses for indulging in naughty food? Order a copy of the 2013 Roadfood Calendar!
