Pictured above is a Slinger as served at Chicago's Diner Grill, one of the favorite diners of Chicago as chosen by Chicagoist. We visited a few of these spots late last year and hope to post reviews of some of them in the coming weeks. In the meantime, check out Chicagoist's story if you're a fan of urban greasy spoons. Included among the dozen diners is Cozy Corner (see the Roadfood.com review). In addition to Diner Grill,  we also visited Valois ("See Your Food") and Daley's, which are both on Chicagoist's list and, while in true diner fashion are far from perfect, are also well worth a visit.
