Patrons question closed Fall River restaurant

T.A. Restaurant of Fall River, MA closed Thursday of last week after a reported case of salmonella illness that originated at the Portuguese eatery, according to The Herald News (see the review). The Massachusetts Department of Public Health Food Protection Program is helping the restaurant implement actions that are required before they reopen. Those actions include disinfecting the restaurant, replacing equipment, testing all staff for infection, and disposing of all the old food. A planned reopening date has not been announced.
