Back to Business: Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory, Brooklyn from NYCEDC on Vimeo.

One of the many businesses in New York City impacted by last year's Hurricane Sandy was the Brooklyn Ice Cream Factory, which sits right on the waterfront (see the Roadfood.com review). They took on over three feet of water from the storm, with total damage estimated to run 300,000 to 400,000 dollars. We understand they may be reopened by summer. In the meantime, you can visit them (minus those spectacular views) at their second location in the Greenpoint section of Brooklyn at 97 Commercial Street.
