Much-beloved Mamie's of Roxbury, Connecticut ( review), still serves breakfast, but only on weekends. (Pictured above is summer vegetable hash topped with poached eggs.) It now is open for lunch and dinner every day except Tuesday. Among the regular dinner offerings are fried chicken with corn pudding. I recently sampled some of that pudding and swooned. I can hardly wait to sink my teeth into the chicken.
