I haven't yet tried the barbecue at Ace Biscuit & Barbecue in Charlottesville, Virginia, but I sure do like what they do with biscuits. (A full review is forthcoming.) Pictured here is what's known as a Dirty Biscuit. It features a couple of fried chicken thighs topped with peppery sausage gravy, plus a layer of pimiento cheese and a couple of outstanding pickle chips.

That looks outstanding! Reminds me of the "Reggie" at Pine State Biscuits in PDX. http://www.pinestatebiscuits.com/menu/

Fried chicken, biscuits, gravy, pimento cheese...does life get any better?

The menu of this place looks fabulous...and this picture makes you want to start drolling. The sausage gravy looks like a solid 10.

I've got a mess of Ace BBQ and side dishes on tap for supper tonight...
