Shack Cheeseburger
Shake Shack (see the review) is coming to the Boston area next year. They're moving into the Chestnut Hill Shopping Center at 55 Boylston Street, and it's sounding like there will be more Shacks to follow. Boston people - will it be a hit, or will it be considered an unwelcome New York interloper? When it comes to the business of dining, never bet against Danny Meyer; Boston will fall in love with the Shack.

Both Amy & I agree that Chestnut Hill is a weird place to open the Shack; personally we'd be less likely to truck all the way out there for anything, let alone their excellent custard. CH is a wealthy community near Boston College, so they'll probably do well...which will ensure that the Abbott's Custard in Brighton remains a genuinely hidden gem (at a mere 4 miles from us).
