It's Princeton Review - not Princeton University that does the survey. UF was actually ranked #1 and PSU was #3. How Randolph-Macon made the list, I will never know. Article

Come to think of it. I remember asking Gerry Faust if ND was a party school. Well......here was his answer.

Joe Pa #2 with your ref outfit on----a happy Zebra with vertical stripes. The Rev Faust didn't win a lot of games at ND but he sold a lot of rosary beads. A good, honest, loving man, and a great High School coach. We can't win 'em all Joe. Now back to the Princeton Poll----could it have been rigged ?????

Around here, West Virginia has a much bigger reputation as a party school than Penn State does.

My goodness, Wilkes-Barre has a newspaper----what is the world coming to. I usta have a friend who was a radio DJ in that town --- everywhere we went people knew him---most popular guy in town. No hip-hop in those days either. WVa makes a lot of their own firewater so maybe they forgot to count that in B.Buster------just keep an eye out for the rev-n-newers. The hills are alive with the sound of -------the Hatfields & McCoys, etc.

I remember living in Chico Ca when Playboy Mag. rated Chico State ass the #1 party school in America---failed to point out that it had the most used library in the state at the time and a really high rentiontion and graduate level---and foode wise-a "meat lab" in the aq dept that taught butchering--including sausage cured and uncured both and you could buy it there at the lab to take home! iN ANY CASE--FROM THEN ON KIDS FROM ALL OVE FROM LA TO oREGON WOULD SHOW UP Aall THE HOLIDAYS--esp THE ONES WITH DRINKING INVOLVED--liKe St Pats and Halloween. Got nasty townfolks wouldnt go ear downtown--they finally had to crackdown BIG time--Huge DUI patrols-road blocks--no 6am bar openings!! Took a few yrs to get the town back.(sorry for the caps--didnt notice it at first)

When you talk to Gerry faust, you walk away knowing that you are a better person. What he teaches, takes you farther than X's & O's ever could.

As TTM can testify there could be no better explanation of the role of Cheerleaders at a BBall game than one would get when listening to the chant arise between the college where I was employed, playing the State college located in Muncie Indiana. (BTW I was Director of Admissions for Morehead State University in Kentucky). The two squads of young ladies would face each other and one team would shout "MOREHEAD" then the other group would reply "BALL STATE"..The chant would speed up and gain volume until the Crowd drowned them out with applause! Some folks found humor in this competition....
