Eleen my dear you have out did/done yourself again. The food looked great, sounds like you had a great time while enjoying the sunshine. You looked great as always, the pix of you with the drink in your hand in front of the Island Queen, made me smile. I have a similar pictrure of my wife when we were in Hawaii. The Island ferry we took island hopping was the island queen, and she was standing in front of the sign with a Mai Tai. Thanks for another great report, looking forward to reading more of your adventures

Ellen, Little disappointed we didn't make your review from Florida. You seemed rather pleased with our chicken wings (Wings over Davie) and the service. I think we blow Shorties out of the water although it's not the same food. For good BBQ try Smokey Bones. It was nice meeting you while you were in Florida. Thanks, jtano1 Joe T.

Jtano1 where is your place located? As for Smokey Bones, I was not impressed at all. It's a chain and I much prefer local places.

Hi Joe, You DID make my review!! (disappointed no more, Joe!) HOWEVER, it is in the "10 days in Florida, PART TWO" . It was such a nice, long trip that it took me 3 parts to do the Trip Report. Please check it out, (it's on the preceding page of the Trip Report section, scroll down to "topics, page 2") as I said some very good things about you! I'll never forget your energetic personality! And how I declared you the "best personality encountered during my 10 day trip!" Thanks for following through and checking out Roadfood. I think you'll get a warm, homey feeling if you keep hanging out here. ellen in NJ p.s. I tried Smokey Bones while up in upstate NY. I did'nt care for the brisket too much; but I loved the atmosphere, and the gal food server was a delight.

Cajunking, A trifle off the real topic, but as far as I'm concerned, "you have out did yourself" is perfectly fine colloquial grammar. I get to where I'm writing with a Southern accent upon occasion... sometimes, I swear, I can practically hear some of these posters talking to me in their local accents. Ellen - you will always be in my Top 10....I mean Top 5....I mean Top 3. With my love to cheesesteaks, WanderingJew has given me sleepless nights with his last post so right now he is my World Champion. JohnA takes my #2 spot with his past pictures and you are a close Third IMHO. On the other hand, I fully expect YOU to plan a Cheesteak trip and hopefully, I will be able to join you. Just plan it out way in advance, let some of us faithful know about it and I will do my best to be there. If that were to happen (with or without me), you would become Unanimous World Champion in my book

It would be hard to match Wandering Jew's cheesesteak report, but I plan on checking out a few places on my way to the Philly airport next Monday (21st) Mine will be more like a "mini" cheesesteak report. No match for WJ's
