Roast pork with provolone and rabe. This is one serious good sandwich. The pork was fall apart tender with lots of garlic. Life is good.

I'll give Santangelo's a try. I usually go to Pudge's in Blue Bell: http://www.pudgessteaks.com/ Their website needs an update as they recently moved to a new location nearby on DeKalb Pike(202)

I was in Norristown very briefly on Sunday; my brother and sister-in-law, however, were able to get me a "zep" and some philly sticky buns from the Corropolese Deli. One word: YUM! The sticky buns, especially, were truly heaven. Excuse me while I gobble another fish oil pill, though. LOL

If we measure a successful trip report by whether or not it makes you hungry even if you just ate, then....well, I am hungry again.

joerogo Thanks all for the kind words. billyboy, In that neck of the woods Subs are called Zepplins or Zeps for short. The long hots are my favorite, not too hot and great pepper flavor. I put them on everything. in this neck of the woods, they're called hoagies (when cold and grinders when hot) - unless the owner of the establishment is from somewhere else. gonna have to check this place out - the food looks GOOD!

Joe, I totally forgot this thread. The wife and I have been on a long-term weight-reduction mode of eating, and that photo of the breakfast zep is like heroin to an addict. Boy does that look great. And like 2000 calories!

Hey Joe, your visit and trip report was the kiss of death. I can only worry that your last visit to Seattle will bring the same result, stay out of my town.....................

Sorry to hear about this. I was lucky enough to have had a Superimo after reading your post (I posted about it somewhere but apparently not in this thread) and stopping there on the way back to NJ from a morning meeting nearby. Great, and unique, sandwich! So, thanks again. Hey, my wife just asked me to make a quick run to the Asian Produce market over in Plainfield for a few things for tomorrow's Christmas Eve dinner. And on the list is Broccoli Rabe. Maybe I'll ask her to cancel the Lasagna and make Chicken Superimo instead. Right....

You're welcome. I've been there a few times since they moved and there's much more room inside and it's way easier to park now.
