2010 Roadfood Tour: New Mexico

September 17 & 18, Friday and Saturday, Roadfood.com is coming to devour New Mexico. Based in Albuquerque, the tour will take participants to Santa Fe, to the New Mexico State Fair, to the chile fields of the Mesilla Valley and to a visit with Dr. Paul Bosland, Chileman Supreme. Of course, we will be eating all along the way, from the legendary sweet rolls at the Frontier Cafe to green chile cheeseburgers and banquets of only-in-New Mexico cuisine. Cousin Johnny and I will be there.  Time to start looking for flights.  Based on the itinerary, this should be the best tour yet!

What a wonderful line up! I've been to 8 of the places on the list and loved them all. I wish I could attend. This is going to be a fun, fun tour.

I've been to all those places several times, lots of good eating!

Would love to join in the festivities as I've only been to NM once and it was for 24 hrs!  However, I am running my first half marathon in my hometown on Sept. 19th.  Devour lots of red & green chiles in my stead!

I just booked my airline ticket to AUSTIN for the Texas Monthly BBQ Festival, which is on Sun. Sept. 19th....(thanks to Roadfooder "Signman" giving me the heads up on that)

Flying into Austin a day early on Sat....
mmmmmmm, maybe  I can figure something out, and squeeze in BOTH,
but it's going to be so tough cuz I may have to call out from work on Saturday, as it is ; tough getting days off in Sept., due to our big World Poker Tour tourney ....

mmmmm, maybe I can drop AUSTIN altogether for a chance to hang with the Sterns again, and have my very 1st BOBCAT BURGER?!???

We were in New Mexico in April. In September we will be up on the Minnesota North Shore since I took on the task of hosting a Class B camper van rally.

I'm looking forward to it!

Wish I could come but don't think it possible this year. it does look like a lot of fun.

Well, I expect to be driving through New Mexico in October.

I'll try to wait before eating but buffetbuster may get hungry...

right  in front of me in line at the HENPECK MARKET for our PIMENTO CHEESE sandwiches ....
