Bah! Congrats to Auburn. They are deserving champions It hurts too much to say more and I cannot begin to express my sorrow about the game. So close but yet so far.

Dyer's not being down when tackled was just luck---but luck counts for those who have it. Auburn had a great defense.

After a 37 day layoff, both teams played like... they hadn't played for 37 days. At least it was close, but the game seemed so anticlimactic- I wish they'd at least get the championship game closer to Jan 1.

porkbeaks "Be patient. Oregon may be the National Champs in a few years, if the win is vacated. " And why would that happen? Some believe that Cam Newton may eventually emulate Reggie Bush's career if investigators dig deeper and find anything new regarding his dad seeking payments for his son's school selection. I doubt much more will come of it. Regardless, TCU, not Oregon, would now be the perceived heir apparent.
