Ah...but I don't use HIS name (I never heard of him, I'm a native of the west coast, not Noo Yawk)...what type of radio show did he do...???
 
"Long John" has been used by many for centuries...(think of how many "Michael Hoffman's" there are in the world and IF your parents waited before naming you)...
 
THIS is the kind of radio I do...
 

 
KFAT-(Gilroy) died 28 years ago, and is credited as starting what is now known as the Americana (non) format...but back in those days we were just "Outlaw DJ's" following the inspiration of KMPX & KSAN but with a country twist...
 
The sun just went down, so it's time to torture some kind of food on my grill...
 
We've not heard from PNWCHEF in a while, and I'm curious how his plans for a road trip are shaping up...

Nope...not quite within range...I've listened when traveling...and I sometimes comment that I live in the State Of Jefferson, but few know the referrence & history...

BTW...have you looked into the cost of renting a Class C RV for your trip...???
 
There might be a "Cruise America" franchise in your area...
