That's a heckuva breakfast! I see from the link the food police are after it and they should lay off. Entire families likely share one and don't finish it and it's not the restaurant's fault if a single person attempts "the challenge". A person could eat his/herself to death at a buffet or pizzaria etc. etc. etc. and it's not the restaurant's fault.

I'd like to give it a shot. Why is it that no matter what the issue some nosy person or group wants to tell you how to live your life? They were after the KFC Double Down for a while. One quote has it that the restaurant needs to take responsibility and take it off the menu. No, what needs to happen is the individual eater needs to take responsibility and order something else. Rant over!

It's described as having 12 rashers of bacon. Apparently the word rasher has dual meanings. It can mean a single slice or multiple slices in a serving. I always thought it was the latter. So I guess the dish could have 12, 24, 36 or 48 slices of bacon.

Except for the mushrooms, the black pudding and all the bread it sounds good to me, although I'd want to substitute sausage patties for the 12 slices of bacon. Bacon smells great while it's cooking, but only chewingthefat wants to actually eat the stuff.
