A truly sweet story. Would that all people had this kind of (genuine) charisma!

Mickey's always had the best dogs. Have not seen him since this story... was wondering if anyone had any Idea if he is still around. Saw some young kids in the truck most likely grand or great grandkids, just around Memorial Weekend but noone since. It would be a shame to let such a Landmark just die... if anyone has any Info please feel free to contact me. Great Forums I'm looking forward to more posts. ___________ MikeR

JimEats ... That's not what I meant ... Mickey had someone working the truck with him in recent years but all I'm saying it would be a shame to see a Landmark dissappear. Like most mom+ pop startups, the Kids today could care less of loyalty, or customer service. If instant gratification is not the end result, they won't go anywhere near .... On another note... Although I still have not spoken directly to Mickey himself(he's been ill), I have found the town to contact and was told that they do not allow HotDog Trucks and that he was Grandfathered in by the town since he had been there. I was also told that when he retires he cannot sell or grandfather his business to anyone which ensures his demise if all said is true ... I want to keep that site going and will keep you all posted ... Wish me Luck I'm gonna need it ..... ___________ -MikeR-
