The 1st 7th Annual Grilled Cheese Invitational will be held in downtown Los Angeles this year. The cheese-lovers' Mecca will be held at Los Angeles State Historic Park on Saturday, April 25. LINK

Are they grilling over an open fire or setting up elctric for the contestants. A park seems odd. Id think more an indoor venue
