Great to see you posting Dave , and the kind words thank you .

Next up is a Benefit for a worker at Jimmy Buffs East Hanover .
Monday Nov 16th 4 - 8 pm
$10 bucks all the dogs you can eat
The worker is dying of cancer and his one wish is to go home to his family in  South America .
Jimmy has asked all of us Hot Dog lovers to join him in the fundrasier .
John Fox and I will be there .

All reports are of a very succesful benefit at Jimmy Buffs East Hanover !!!!

We will be planning a Holiday Meet at Coney Island Restaurant in Middletown around Christmas Week . Usually we hold it during the week between Christmas and New Years and get between 10 - 16 attendees .
Anyone interested that can only make a certain day shout it out and we do our best to accomodate you
Usually lunch around 1 pm is the time

Back on track here everyone .
We are in the planning stages for the 7th  Annual Jersey Hot Dog Tour that will be taking place on a Saturday in September . We will have the exact date by mid March so everyone can plan ahead.
We will once again be traveling in style via a deluxe Motorcoach .
The intinerary will be set by John Fox with input from everyone .
The trip  will be a SELL OUT and past attendees will have first choice to attend .

Put my name on the list.  I really enjoyed my first outing with the 6th annual tour.  It was such a pleasure meeting  the "Hot Dog Mafia" as we were called by the owner of Lutz Pork Store.  I can't wait to hear where we will go this year.

My suggestions for the Tour are a Classic Collection of my N.J. favorites. I humbly submit them for consideration.
 
    They are, Hiram’s, Ft. Lee; Bubba’s, Lyndhurst; Jimmy Buff’s, East Hanover; Tommy’s, Elizabeth; Jerry’s, Elizabeth; Father & Son, Linden; Rutt’s Hut, Clifton; and Tony’s Truck in the Park, Newark.
 
  If the long-awaited Garage, in Millburn, is up and running by then and scouting reports deem it worthy, I suggest we add that, too.
 
   Indeed, this list is a bit longer than usual, and will probably add about 2 hours to the tour. However, I don’t think I’ll have to address the U.N. that day, and can’t think of a much better way to spend some time.

I'm starting to put the list together . John is a comedian hahhahah , without his work and expertise the tour would be difficult at best to  run .
I do suggest if there are any stops like Screenbears suggestions that  you can post them for consideration.

Hoping we have enough to book a BUS, as it's SO much more relaxing, espescially for the
"car pool" driver..   Or perhaps a MINIBUS, (like the size of an airport car rental shuttle?)

(I surely don't want to shuffle around a carload of people, but I'll gladly chip in for gas for the car pool driver....)  And I'll even buy you a nice double dog!
My bf, Ross, will also try and take the day off from work at casino to join us...
Neither of us really want to get stuck driving, though..
he does'nt know the area so well, and I'm nervous driving around people, as I'm so animated!!

We have asked Coney Island Lou to handle the shirts this yr again , he does a great job and we will get something together after John puts together an intinerary .

Wow, I'm real disappointed you won't be able to make it on Saturday for our central Jersey hot dog tour....
I understand that family has to (and should!) come first!
I'm having 2nd thoughts , too, now, espescially cuz it's supposed to RAIN on Saturday!!
(and cuz  there will be NO BENZEE !!)
I can only hope that John Fox is still going !!  (or else that could be my final straw!)

Any newbees here that were on the Sagimans trip  this weekend let me know if you are interested in the 7th Annual Jersey Hot Dog Tour being held Sept 25th this year .

We do have a waiting list as past attendees have first  choice on attending or not .

Aug 1st  will be the cut off date for past attendees to reserve their seat , newbbes  should get on the list early as a few were shut out last yr .

Steve Keiner will be joining us this year , he was on the first tour back in 2004 and has accepted the  invitation . He  is the 1999  Nathans Hot Dog Eating Champion .

Four months to this year's Tour! I'm working on the itinerary and hoping to get some media coverage. Talked with someone at the Star Ledger today. They seem interested in doing an article or video.

I also heard that Mark Sanchez of the Jets is considering attending if his schedule allows it.

Anyone who has attended  the tour in the past  , they have until Aug 1st to reserve and pay .
I already have 15 on a waiting list that will be used after Aug 1st if past attendees have not  reserved
Cost remains the same as last year at $30 per 
Deluxe Motorcoach  will depart from Harriman NY Commuter MTA Lot for those coming from North of Jersey about 1000am
We will meet at Galloping Hill Inn for the departure and first stop on the tour , about 1130 am
Depart from GHI about Noon
There is parking at both places
Intinerary is being put together by John Fox
T shirts will be designed by Coney Island Lou
