Big kings. My biggest king there was a 40-pounder.

Lawd love a duck!  or at least a fish!  That must have been some time ago....back when we were catching 15lb blues and 30 lb stripers on the Cape....not to mention the 8 lb Lobsters my mom used to get in Sandwich and cook in a roasting pan

That fish came on a trip in 1988.

You should try it.....they're really good!  We told our neighbors, they made them, put 'em on the grill and walked away.  Ended up with a flaming inferno and black bacon/onion rings!!  You have to keep an eye on them but it's worth it.

Lobster rolls, roasted clams AND apizza??  SWOON!!  Thanks so much for such a great write-up.  The pics and your trip down Mr. Hoffman's memory lane was fantastic.  Isn't apizza just the best?  I was hooked a number of years back and as much as I love NYC pizza I'm still trying to find one in the 5 boroughs that measures up to Frank Pepe's.

After eating my clam pie and a taste of MH's plain pie I swore that I would never again eat "pizza".  Only "apizza" and preferably at Pepe's!
