Polish sausages go like hotcakes in Warsaw,so do hotcakes.also the main difference is the spelling, all 3 are spelled Wiener, except for Frankfurter and Polish sausage.Hope that's a help!

      Markus,
In a previous post you mentioned bringing an American hot dog to Germany. If in fact, this is your objective, I'd suggest locating an American hot dog manufacturer that's currently distributing products in your country. However, if I were to vend an encased meat in Germany, it would be a well known local or national, highly respected wienerwurst, knackwurst, or bratwurst. This would be a much easier than trying to sell an American hot dog, wiener, frank, or Polish. Are you aware that the American hot dog originated in Germany and Austria and made it here in the mid-late 1800's? I sell Vienna Beef hot dogs. The Vienna Sausage Mfg. Company originated in 1893 when two young immigrants brought their frankfurter recipe from Austria and Hungary to the Chicago's World Fair/Columbian Exposition. Vienna Beef hot dogs own the title of "The Original Chicago Style Hot Dog" and have been voted "The Best Hot Dog in Chicago" by countless polls, newspapers and magazines, year after year.

Where are you going to set your business up?.. Near a sports venue, shopping area, working area?...
Maybe it is good to see also what is being served the most in local restaurants near where you want to put your business.
I wish you well in your venture.
