JRPfeff- Shouldn't you be CarolinaJim by now? So glad that you took the time to do a report. Too bad the food wasn't consistently better. Man, does that plate from La Posta look terrific! I have only ever been to Tucson Tamale once, but for the life of me, can't remember who I was with! How long were you in Arizona?

ces1948 - That is a red cheese enchilada. I had the choice of it, a baked potato, or steak fires.
b-squared - There will only ever be one Carolina-anything in our hearts. I've been in Arizona for over 2-1/2 years, with 4 stops at Tuscon Tamales in that time. I first arrived here the day after Smoke/Pie Day 2010.

Nice Report and pictures.
We drove part of your trip the last few weeks.
Unfortunately, timing is everything. I really wanted to eat at La Posta after you reported on it, but I missed it headed east and we were there too early headed home.

Went to La Posta last about 10 years ago. Glad to see it is holding up. I cannot travel anymore and happy to see places I loved.
