A&W Teen burger.... Tue, 01/16/07 12:15 AM (permalink)
Does anyone here know what A&W used to put on their teenburgers? That was my favorite hamburger. I know it had a slice of onion and there was some kind of sauce but I dont know what was in it. I Spfld MO A&W and McD's were right next door to each other on Kearney. We would get a teenburger then go next door to get fries.UMMMMMMMM...BUT what was on those teen burgers? A&W doesnt even have that named burger anymore. HELP ME OUT HERE!

Mmm Yum! I hope I can find this in the new Burpee's spring catalog.
I have a perfectly dark and shady area to plant it.

              Try Durkee's Sandwich Spread/Sauce - it's pretty close as I recall. Sort of a mayo/mustard mixture.

I worked for a summer at the A&W on Glenstone in Springfield ,MO. When we ran out of teen sauce, we would use Durkees with Lawry's seasoning mixed in for a substitute.
