Does anyone know if the rollers come off for cleaning on this model? The instructions weren't very clear.

Thanks.

    Marvin,
I know you can pull the rollers but they have gaskets that keep the grease from going down into the drive gear assembly so you may have to remove and replace them. I only had my roller grill for about a month and I bought it new and I cleaned it every day and if you do that they are an easy clean up. You must have bought a used one? Or did it just not get cleaned for awhile? Try a stainless steel scouring pad you can't scratch SS using stainless steel, or at least that's what I have always been told. LOL.

I bought it new and have not used it yet. It's for my own personal use which will be about once a month.

I guess it's designed to be cleaned with the rollers intact.

I've only used 'toy' ones from walmart where to rollers come off for cleaning.

Do you put some kind of paper down over the tray to make cleanup easier? I think the manual said to use cotton paper? What is that?

I'm not sure what cotton paper would be? I just used the tray below the rollers to catch the juices and then washed it. It may fit in your dishwasher though. Foil would work, but that's not cotton paper. I wonder if paper towels are called cotton paper in some parts of the world?
