Advantage veritical or sliding windows

Putting in a slider is going to be a major pain in butt.  Thinking about a vertical 32 x 32.  Slider would be  48 x 36 high.  Have to cut a double stud to do slider. What do you think?  Thanks, Bruce

I would go with the slider so that you don't have to bend over so far to get your head into the opening. I just got done putting 2 in mine. Both replaced verticals. As far as the studs go it depends on how far the window insets into the opening you might be able to put a thinner PC in its place. Give me a call at 316-371-9411 ask for Jay.

that was weird, it came up as a screencap when i pasted it...
so that + $35 for shipping seems pretty low?

I am on a tight budget so here is what I ended up doing.  The whole thing, frame and all was less than $200 from Lowes. The bottom windows are actually vertical windows turned on there side.
