We used have a few. I prefer using Cambros as they are easier to take car of. For carrying liquids, I preheat a Cambro with boiling water, drain, add the coffee, soup, or whatever, and then seal. The Airvoid's (as pictured) small top opening preclude the use of the container for soup, chili, stew, etc... Also, it's a lot harder to dent a Cambro. I don't have any experience with the Airvoid "food carriers," but just knowing how rough I am on my Cambro, I'd hate to scratch and dent a brand new airvoid...

Namho I have always used cambro. They can take a lot of abuse and still work wonderfully. You stated you have one, is it any good for anything but liquid? I read the data on how well it supposedly keeps things cold, but from your experience does it actually keep them that cold? I could see for a reception they may have a better presence then my ugly brown cambro, which may be beneficial.

I have never used it. I was just curious how they worked.

You are right it would look great at a nice function. The only reason I bought it was the way it looks and I got a good buy on it. Maybe someday I will have a need for it.

Nambo, if you have any questions, please call us anytime. What you have is a beverage container. Our food containers have a large mouth opening. Do they really keep things cold or hot for 8 hours or longer? Definitely yes. We would not have been in business since 1913 serving prisons, cruise lines, schools, hotels, airlines, if our products didn't do what we claimed. One major cruise line has many of our beverage dispensers on every single one of their ships. Our dispensers last forever unless you drop one off an airplane 30,000 feet up.

Hi Nambo We carry a very similar product line with a larger selection of sizes and capacities. Our containers are used in cruse ships, schools, caterers, air sea rescue, restaurants and many more. We also carry an insert that can be used in our food or beverage containers. Our product line is called Super Chef, you can view our entire product line at www.americanproduction.com. They can even be customized with duel faucets and extended skirts.
