Almost Morton's Frozen Donuts

I've been hungering for these since they quit making them. I have been trying to find a substitute. I finally found a mighty close one:

1 box of Entenmann's Softee Cinnamon Popettes (Don't know if this is local to the South or not.)

Put 1 cup of granulated sugar in a Ziploc, dump the Popettes in, and shake like hell. You can also give them a preliminary light spray with cooking spray to make it stick.

Refrigerate (only because I remember eating them cold).

Hope this eases some cravings...
