Bought cart...check Health Department cart plan approval...check Pass Health Department cart inspection...check Next step is to obtain HD Certificate, purchase all licenses, permits & sales tax numbers. 2 months to the day since I first joined here.

Still do. The sequence required to start a food cart/truck here in Arkansas is to obtain the commissary first, once that is secured you have to submit cart/truck plan for health department review($50*), then health department cart/truck inspection (running hot water was most scrutinized item), if inspection is passed they will issue you a permit ($35*), then you can obtain business license ($50*) and finally the municipal vending permits ($50*).

Dont you just love jumping all the hoops the system gives us, then they want our economy to get better and get people off unemployment and to rebuild, yet they make it difficult on us the small potatoes... Good Luck and when you least expect, you'll be there and then some :)
