Am I wacky, or what ??????

Wait just a minute, before you answer that question-----I went to the Members
list to look up someone and found 2014 lurkers and no members.  It used to be
the members were listed by the number of posts with the most at the top---now
I can't find anyone, top or bottom, even with their fingerprints, DNA and a letter from
their Mother---------what am I doing wrong ?????????????  Is it discrimination against
tall good looking Irishmen ?????

Mariners and seafarers are akways whacky. If they weren't they wouldn't be seafarers and mariners.

When you are viewing list click total posts, which will make a small green arrow appear. This indicates if you are sorting from small to large or large to small. Click "total posts" a second time and you'll find the list sorted from most to least.

Now, Brother Tony, Gentleman that you are, I still have not been able to do what we could do before this site got fancy.  On your advice I went to Members list  and found nothing about a list check--only an alphabet running from A to Z.  Being a simple soul
I am back where I started, among 2400 or whatever lurkers and Michael Hoffman.

It is not intuitive for a normal human being, wether or not he has spent his formative years at sea, to have to double click on an obscure, meaningless, (here I'm searching for a word or phrase to describe the frustration  that we, the unwashed, suffer because we have not been admitted to the esoteric nirvana of cyberdom ).

But, I'm sure you get my point. What would move  any reasonable sentient person to click on that particular prompt, and even to be silly enough to click on it a second time to gain the simple information we are seeking -  information that any idiot, even me, could obtain previously with no secret handshakes or passwords.

I was. I last renewed my operator's license ten years ago.

This is the only ship I ever had command of on the open seas. Look close. That's me up there on the deck leaving Newport, RI.

That ship was a lot of responsibility, glad it worked out well.  One of my Grandsons is aboard a sea going tug for Moran and runs up to Newport and Cape Cod etc.

Hummmmm---------can you reconsider ????  I met a man here for the Super Bowl who lives on a sail boat down in Naples----he learned all his sailing expertise on Lake Erie --- so I guess all guys from OHIO aren't hillbillys--------just my relatives in Toledo and Columbus.
