Got through about 1:30 - do they start waving flags and encouraging us to buy Chevy Trucks at some point?

It's well done, but maybe a little over the top. I'm curious as to their intended audience and its purpose. If it's just a feel-good piece for their membership, they did a nice job. If it's intended for the general public, I think it's a waste of resources. No one is going to watch this and declare, "Hey, I think I'll go out to dinner tonight to support this great American institution". To me, the production looks like something the UAW would put out to support their under-paid and under-appreciated workers. Or maybe even a military recruitment ad. Like I said, I don't quite understand its purpose. Maybe its to recruit people into the food service industry. Maybe it's to show young people that food service can be a career because right now the vast majority of people at the entry level in food service are just looking for any kind of job they can find. Often, it's the last resort and not the first step of a planned career. If that's their intended audience, I don't think a six minute video on YouTube without sex and/or violence will get a lot of play.

Speaking of points ......what's yours? I don't recall anyone asking what the point was. But since you broached the subject; I guess my point is the video is on one level not unlike a TV advertisement for Chevy trucks, and on another level really not particularly interesting. Hope that clears up any confusion you may have had on "my point."

While it is a little long, it shows that people in foodservice are not a bunch of drunks drug addicts and excons who cant get a "real job". We actually are a part of the back bone of America and do matter. I found it to be very well done. Why does a small group on here seem to travel from topic to topic just looking to start fights and leave snide little comments?

It's a feel-good video by theNational Restaurant Association. What would one expect them to say? Nothing wrong with that.

I did not know that the NRA is involved in the foodservice business. Bringing guns to a kitchen is dangerous. mark

Very inspirational video. Was glad to see the ole trusty hot dog since I am going into the cart business. It just goes to show you can do anything, expansion, for those who think that hot dog carts are jokes. We bring a service to people, filling belly's, bringing enjoyment, delight to old and young alike. Like Arnie said he gave those two kids some dogs and they were as happy as they could be. Loved the video thanks for sharing.
