I gotta figure that any magazine that says kreplach (in the chicken soup) is beef brisket should be ignored.

Their individual restaurants are not necessairly my choice but their overall selection was very good. I have tried several of the restaurants they mentioned. Some of them were very good. Particularly the Moonlite BBQ. One of Al's favorite. I have been there several times. I certainly enjoy all their selections of comfort food. Paul E. Smith Knoxville, TN

I guess they had not heard that the Loveless Cafe has changed hands and gone in the Crapper!

Michael Hoffman I gotta figure that any magazine that says kreplach (in the chicken soup) is beef brisket should be ignored. I, too, noticed the kreplach error, Michael. (After all, I did work 37 years at Ben Schwartz Food Mart.) But I figured that T+L's selection of comfort foods might still be worthy of discussion. I found their listing of mashed potatoes (rather than potato dishes of all types) to be somewhat questionable, though maybe mashed is the most popular form of potato preparation. (More popular than French fries? I'm not so sure.)
