I like Amy Sedaris, and her brother David has some good stories, too. David's, "Holiday in Ice" is a hilarious book on the Christmas/Holiday season. The chapter about the year (season) he worked as an elf at Macy's is priceless.

Amy Sedaris was very funny on the Colbert Report making crafts from dryer lint, among other things.
