On Nov.23 The Blazer Pub on Route 22, a local (Hudson Valley) landmark for their burgers, chili and true Roadfood ambiance, suffered an electrical fire. According to the Northern Westchester Express, owner Alice O'Leary hopes to reopen in 2008.

Dunno if it used to be the Cricket -- it's been the Blazer for at least the past 25 years or so. It's on the west side of 22 overlooking 684, about 2/3 of the way between Goldens Bridge and the Swan Deli in Purdy's, if that helps.
