Hey Slickster, did you edit out the link to your new design? Or did mods? If mods edited your t-shirt link, well, they've done it to me too. I don't blame them. As least as far as editing me that is because half the time I'm on another planet, so my communications to this one are rather spotty in quality. However I think your posts along with your t-shirt art (or pornography according to the definition of the reader) is a way-viable marketing technique and as I've been posting about Twitter and new marketing techniques, I iterate my point: it's something we need to or should look at. As a marketing tool even if you don't like scantily clad women saying off-color things on t-shirts. BUT I hope you guys are reading when I say.......... Times are changing. If economic times are going to get harder (which I'm sure they will), we'll need to look at new and different techniques, recipies, marketing methods, the works. The legal and political situation has changed. We just can't expect to do what we did 50 years ago and expect it to work out the same way. And I don't blame anybody for expressing their honest opinion..... But guys, you must know that we're the talkers around here. Notice how many people cruise these boards and how few post? The entire industry is looking at us almost on a daily basis and young Slicks here had the balls to post a new idea. If you guys aren't looking at BigSlicks' success, well everybody else it. The guy talks to me because we're Phoenix. He's sold over 30 of those shirts. Know how many people ask to buy OzDogs shirts? 0. Zero. Not one. My t-shirts ain't got no sexy rock'n'roll chick in Daisy Dukes. But the fact remains that about 30 people are wearing the BigSlicks marketing message AND THEY PAID HIM TO DO IT. Come on, that's gotta make you think.

No Oz I took it down for some modifications. Will post here in a dayor two but its so much better then my other one except that one has sold 38 shirts. And I have a couple kids that want that logo on BBQ aprons so I am getting those set up. To be honest with you all, I was first set back on the comments that I got from everyone. But now that look at it, this is a forum and every one is allowed the thoughts. And if they dont like the shirts then dont buy them. True story, I was Home Depot like I am every Sunday afternoon, and I am I line and I seea customerwho had a Big Slick Shirt on and they were wearing it in public. I stood there watching as a young couple walked over to the guy that was wearing the Big Slicks Shirt and asked where he got that shirt. Now I am close enough to here them and the guy goes from Big Slick at the Car wash in Goodyear. They said oh our dads would love it. It put a tear in my eye. That is something I designed and it has my name on it. It has the business that I have cried Blood over. So its great advertisement. And you know the best part about it, all proceeds go to our PKD foundation. http://www.pkdcure.org/ The last couple weeks my oldest son has been progessing with his PKD. He is getting worse. He is 19yrs old and has 25% functioning kidneys. He soon is going to need diaysis. And my idea / shirt design is helping maybe a little but its something. And it gets myname out there. So to anyone that is actully reading this thread I am sorry for being argumentive about my shirt designs. That was stupid of me. I AM SORRY Jason

A fully fledged paremedic has little to apologize for in my Arizona. Thank you lifesaver. Thank you being there. The man is a life saver by day and by nights and weekends he is a dog-slinger. Will we not encourage him? I say to you now, will you not encourage him? He sold 30+ of his offensive t-shirts.

Hey Jason, Good luck Buddy, and remember if we don't agree with a disign it doesn't mean we don't want you to succeed. You still have a thing for hard looking chics. I wouldn't want to meet her in a dark alley........................Good luck.............Bill

PopsDogHouse I like this one a lot better. Not as in your face as the other one. Nice job! I agree 100%. Sorta reminds me of the "rat rod" or Betty Page look which is a hot seller right now. http://www.pinupcafe.com/Kustoms/kustoms.htm

Big Slicks this is much better than the other in my opinion. The art is "cleaner" as in a better job, and the wording is better. Good job and good luck. Dennis in Cary

Will we not encourage him? I say to you now, will you not encourage him? He sold 30+ of his offensive t-shirts. I'm not sure what one has to do with the other. You think someone being a paramedic gives him a pass on good taste? And because he sold 30+ shirts, it somehow minimizes the offensiveness? If this current design didn't have the babe, would it somehow lose its message, if all you're selling is hot dogs? It's pretty obvious that Big Slick feels the need to interject sex into the marketing of his product. Maybe this type of thinking is a standard part of his thought process. Why not a design for women that says, "Show me your weiner"? I don't get it, but it doesn't matter. To each his own.
