The Neil Fraser place at the Farmer's Market is so new I haven't even tried it yet.

Elise, I've been to Fritzi's.  I didn't find anything out of the ordinary there.  They just have a great location for foot traffic.

However, when I AM in the Los Angeles Farmer's Market I buy a few pounds of the Thumann's All Beef, Natural Casing Hot Dogs from one of the meat counters.  That's where your best dog is.

I get that everyone thinks Lafayette Coney Island is the best, and they are good. And also the original, and all that. But I have three hot dog joints in town here that are a million times better. I can't speak to any of the others on the list because I've never been to them.

Dirty Frank's in Columbus turns out acceptable dogs, I suppose. But have fun finding a place to park.

Well, as listicles go, it seems Thrilllist is better at it than Gayot (who annoyingly add Guy-oh to their name so you say it correctly)

    Michael Hoffman-
You have mentioned a hot dog place in Columbus you really like, but Dirty Frank's doesn't sound like the right name.

With Hot Doug's closing, there's room for one more on the list.

Nice to see Biker Jim's on the list.

Great West Virginia hot dogs ( chili, onion, mustard, slaw) are found all over the state, too many to list. I have never had a bad WVhot dog from a locally owned Dairy Queen. They are all over. My favorites are the ones that have English buns. Nitro DQ for example.
