I'm interested as well, particularly either street food places, or street-food-like places where you can walk in and get something to go quickly.

(I'm planning next year's 20 mile walk through Boston)

Just got back from Boston. I really liked The daily catch for food and Mike's pastry for dessert aka cannoli. Just be prepared for long lines.

I'm glad you liked the Daily Catch.  If I had time for only one meal in Boston it would be there.  Not to miss either is Yankee Lobster Fish Market on Northern Ave. for great lobster rolls and other seafood.
