I live in N.W. Indiana and I am going to open a southern style steakhouse this spring/summer. I am looking to find others here that I can learn from and trade information with. I own a few other types of businesses that are going to all but run themselves giving me the open "somewhat" time to invest into running a restaurant and bar with an Indiana 3 way liquor license. If your willing to talk please feel free to add to this thread or contact me via email at ankerenterprises@yahoo.com Hope to talk to you soon guys.

Some basic Ideas. Get 'em in early! Have some nice early birds. I used select prime rib. At under 3 bux a Lb. you can serve a 6-8 oz with soup, veg dujuor and a starch for uner 7 bux. Youll still make money plus have a buzy lot which draws them in. I drive right by a place thats deserted! A steak and. Try ball tips.(filet of sirloin). Its tender and even looks like filet, Even wrap them with bacon. I used 16-20 oz or 21-26 dependeing in price. 3 or 4 scampi style or beer batter is always a hit! How about 26-30 on a skewer. 8 or 10 matinated in vinagerette or your pleasure. The trimmings of the steak make a terrific steak k-bob. Others-BBQ rib or chicken or teraki chicken make great accompionments. Maybe run some killer senor specials until 7. Great food at a good price. We eat out most days anymore. Word do warning do it right, no better word of mouth than Granny! britt
