Anybody remember Quaker Square on Mill Street in Akron OH, Sat, 08/13/11 11:05 AM (permalink)
Any body ever visit the Quaker Square shops and Quaker Square Hotel in Akron, OH, it was fantastic, Old Oatmeal Silos revamped into Hotel and Shops, it was wonderful.
Sadly, the shops  are all gone. and the University of Akron bought the hotel.
among the many things that this wonderful place had was Trains sets that went all over, and a huge room of working model trains, Wonderful it was, they had Ferbergers Fudge, great fudge, about 16 kinds of flavors, they had a brass store, a huge candy store, an entertaiment memorablia store, a Honey Gold perfume store, and much much more. they had resturants, a Christmas store and much more
