Arby's Attempting to Buy Wendy's?

I heard on the CNN Stock Report that Triarc (The owner of Arby's) is speculating a Buyout of Wendy's Stocks. I'm guessing this will include Tim Hortons and BajaFresh in the deal as well.

Has anyone else heard about this. If you did, any thoughts about it?

I may even eat Wendy's again if Arby's Buy them out.

Nope,hadn't heard this one.Not sure what to think except there are things at Wendy's I do like and I hope they don't mess with their menu too much.

Wendy's no longer owns either Tim Horton's or Baja Fresh. Wendy's and Triarc have entered into a confidentiality agreement that allows Triarc access to Wendy's financials. That agreement lasts till the end of the year, but it does not preclude anyone else from purchasing Wendy's.

Oh, and it would not be Arby's buying Wendy's. It would be a holding company, Triarc, that happens to own Arby's.

Yeah, I hate Wendy's. I would eat Poo before I eat Wendy's. I don't understand how people can eat the sloppy bland trash.
