For decades this sleezy place has been selling a fake style roast beef and calling ir roast beef....I remember things...they haven't earned my patronage! Like a lot of people on this site ,I voted for good old Arby's as the worst chain a few years ago. It still is, in my humble opinion...I don't care if a few items in their line are "OK", their cheap imitation flagship product doesn't speak well for them...I'd rather pluck down a few bucks EVEN at Mickey D's....wait....did I say that??????
Give us a break. You sound like a broken record. Anyone who has spent any time on this board knows that you dislike Arby's and you dislike Pizza Hut.
Why do you have the need to keep posting on subjects that refer to these two places? You don't like them, fine. Sorry to burst your bubble but there are millions of people everyday who disagree with your assessment of these places.
There are a lot of factors that go into the decision-making processes of any business, including FF joints. They balance quality, taste, price-point, appearance, and promotional aspects to determine what will be accepted by the mass market.
Many years ago, I was the Manufacturing Engineering Director for a process equipment company that produced equipment for Arby's. As part of their development process for their products, they utilized numerous focus groups to determine what would appeal to the masses. Guess what? When they served up a roast beef sandwich that was from a real beef roast, it was roundly criticized. As it turned out, the "real thing" sometime resulted in someone getting a little fat or grizzle in their sandwich and that was deemed unacceptable to the typical FF customer. After hundreds of formulas were tried, they hit upon a sandwich that would compete in the FF marketplace, and what the consumer wanted was what they got- a roast beef sandwich that had piles of meat on it, was tender, had no hint of fat or grizzle, and had a flavor that they liked.
Arby's (or Pizza Hut) wasn't intended to compete with the Mom & Pop RF establishment. So, with all due respect, give it a rest.
