Around here, McDonald's will put whatever you want on the sandwich. I get all of my sandwiches from McDonald's with extra pickles. Even the crispy chicken - which doesn't have pickles normally. I'm sure they would put mayo and extra pickles if you asked.

I believe that Hardee's makes their biscuits from a mix and then bakes them in the store, and McD's nukes frozen biscuits like the ones from Sam's Club. I'm so glad we have a Chick-Fil-A here in Topeka.

That's not why I didn't like it. It was plenty hot, and I assume fresh, doesn't matter. The bun sucked. The spices weren't anywhere near Southern, and peanut oil makes all the difference. Chick Fil A has a better sandwich, hands down.

I had a couple of free chicken sandwich coupons so last night I grabbed one at chik-fil-a and one at mcdonalds. The mcdonalds product was smaller and had very little flavor. The chicken was a flat fritter/processed product. The bun was very small and had poor texture. On the other hand, the chik-fil-a sandwich had an actual chicken breast, was moist and flavorful, and the bun, while no great shakes, didn't take anything away from the chicken.

I'd agree...but then when has McDonalds ever done anything better than someone else, or with quality, or even good. They're into cheap and fast...and as mom always said, you get what you pay for!!!!

I tried the McDonald's southern chicken biscuit for breakfast today. It was ok -- about on par with other McDonald's breakfast items. However, Chik-fil-a beats it hands down.

Tried the Mcd's chicken biscuit today and agree with westley, although never having tried Chick-fil-a's I have to say Bojangles is better.
