Arctic Air Co. Fri, 09/18/09 8:17 PM (permalink)
Do any of you folks have experience with the commercial refrigerators/freezers made by this company?  I am looking at their models R22CW and F22CW.  They were suggested by an equipment dealer.  I am looking for information on their service record and efficiency in handling any warranty issues.  The company's website is www.arcticairco.com

Thanks!

I am in refrigeration mode right now as I am looking for a needle in a haystack product that will have to be small in a very tight mobile venue with little clearance as well as very attractive in plain sight. It has to get cold when you plug it in as well.

No experience with Arctic Air but a 5 year on compressor is good. The company I deal with give 1 and 4 (same terms covered labor for 1). As far as service hard to tell and will be hard to keep up with by quick glance of the site. The company I use lists the service companies...distance from/to you and they also grade rotate and highlight the top 3 in local area based on a variety of factors like feedback from customers and internal dealings within and amongst themselves. Easy to check and follow if one or a few fall out and the only option in the immediate area is a great distance or well...suck.

Arctic Air does not list any (to research yourself) and includes instructions for service companies in the same area as customer instructions. I would inquire which service companies are authorized in the area how often (if) they are graded how long have they been authorized etc.

It is sort of like cable. TV models vary choose a good one.  TV channels are pretty standard and if you live within a good service area as far as if/when you have an issue (the only time you focus on it other than when installed and when the bill arrives) everything is good. If not....

For all you know Nancy Grace could be dispatched for service.
