That is a truly sad occaision, he was such a part of the varsity, he will be missed.

Sadly, the voice of the Varsity is now silent. Very sad to hear the news of this wonderful character's passing. I've never been to The Varsity. But, I felt like I knew this man because of all the press he's received over the years.

I'm truly saddened to hear this news.
The Varsity is legendary. In fact, I can't visit Atlanta without stopping there.
Before he retired, I always ordered at Erby's register. Not only did I want 2 chili slaw dogs and a Frosted Orange, but I only wanted to buy them from Erby! There were probably thousands of customers who felt the same way.
