Just announced, an Austin woman has won first prize in this year's Bake-Off. Just proud of our hometown gal, Anna Ginsberg.

Bushie, I saw that on CNN this morning. Looks like she won a Million dollars

Too bad my cornbread won't qualify or your beans.

Temple together, by chance? sounds like you might know Anna.
Spinach and chicken? Hmmm Popeye meets Foghorn Leghorn, with an assist from the pillsbury doughboy.

Why would you want maple syrup on chicken with spinach to boot????? I know chicken & waffles is a good combo, but that's fried chicken and no greens in sight on the plate. (maybe in a side bowl)

I guess I can't knock it till I've tried it, but doubt I'll try it.

I wouldn't say I "know her", but I've met Anna, and she's a very decent person. She was a finalist last year in the 41st Bake-Off, and the whole town was rooting for her, but she didn't grab the big ring.

I was listening to the radio today, and I heard that she won the $1 million prize this year. My heart jumped. I just wanted to share it.
